Trip to Remarkable Tasmania

#TassieOnMyMind – Tasmania is known as the land of unspoiled natural environment, an island state located at the south of Australian continent. It is indeed a place of beautiful landscapes, lots of farms, superb food and wine but what really made Tas exceptional is it’s welcoming and helping people with tranquil island lifestyle. This trip was extra special and I am humbled to be reunited with my dad’s family after a long time.
The house built in 1830's in Highfield Historic Site in Stanley, sits on a hillside overlooking the lands. Has been restored several times but the main elegant regency design remains in tact, surrounded by well maintained ornamental garden.
This is the oldest bridge still in use in Australia. The Richmond Bridge is a heritage infrastructure in Tasmania. The foundation stone was laid on 11th of December 1823 and completed in 1825 using convict labour.  In 2005, this bridge was recognized as an outstanding historic place, added to Australian National Heritage List.

Ashgrove, proudly Tasmanian Farm Cheese. Factory and store are open 7 days, located at Bass Highway, Elizabeth Town. You can try creamy farm ice-cream, cheese, cream and butter.

Milking cow in Smithton, despite its remote location, this place thrived in recent years compared to other major cities, towns and highways.
Thanks Roger! This off-road tour made me gripped the seat handle so bad, you were driving wild mate!  Getting lost here could be worthwhile.  Amazing landscapes and hidden gems are breathtaking, this Southern Ocean waves are wild and unforgiving..

A Lincolnshire tower mill built in 1837, the Callington Mill in Oatlands, Tasmania by John Vincent is a major tourist attraction. It has recently been restored and it's now the only operating mill type in the Southern Hemisphere  in full working condition .
