I Miss You Canouan Island! Big Time..

Living in the island was by far, the best experience of carnival life! It is a paradise where I met brilliant people. Thanks to Sam who gave me a post in Raffles Resort, unfortunately ended their management contract.

I miss the Carib vibe, food, drinks and the welcoming residents of this tiny gorgeous dot in a map.  Calling all Canouanese (Where in the world are you right now?) by blood and by heart to share more pix on your facebook #ILoveCanouanIsland  and let others discover this paradise..

Full aerial view of the island.  This island was part of the British colony of the Windward Islands from 1871 to 1969. A barrier reef runs along the Atlantic side of the island. The highest point is Mount Royal. Two bays, Glossy and Friendship, separate the southern side.  Locals in need of supplies beyond basic staples routinely board cargo ships to make the two-to-three hour passage to the main Island of St. Vincent. There's also a plane and fast ferry service for Grenadines which reduces the journey to one hour or less.
